Our Story
The Legacy Foundation has always been driven by a strong sense of purpose and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those in its community and beyond.
Founded in 2014 in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan, the foundation was established by the owners of the Lighthouse Marina Resort in Subic Bay Freeport Zone with the mission to improve the lives of people in the community through integrated, replicable and sustainable programs.
After Covid-19, the Legacy Foundation expanded its scope to help reforest Zambales and build a regenerative economy, teaming with organizations like MAD Travel, PARMS, PASS and a host of other change making groups
As a nonprofit organization, it has focused on creating sustainable programs that promote responsible tourism, support sustainable livelihoods, and protect the environment.
